Maria Doyle Kennedy

"One of the finest voices Ireland has ever produced"
Maria is an Irish singer, actor and filmmaker. She has sung live with Snow Patrol and has spent more than two decades performing all over the world before audiences at Glastonbury, Oxygen and the Cambridge Folk Festival, and in small, intimate theatres.  She honed her craft as a performer with Hothouse Flowers and The Black Velvet Band before performing in the movie The Commitments and by then, Maria’s reputation was strong enough to earn her a place singing on the album The Lady Sings The Blues alongside Aretha Franklin, Billie Holiday, Ella Fitzgerald, Nina Simone, Tina Turner and Annie Lennox.

Always one of our more sensual performers, Maria Doyle Kennedy is one of the finest voices Ireland has ever produced
